  • SPCALA Animal Safety Net - Animal Safety Net (ASN)™ assists many domestic violence survivors by offering temporary housing for their pets, taking them out of harm’s way, and allowing domestic violence survivors to relocate to a shelter. The goal of Animal Safety Net™ is to reunite people with their pets once they are safely out of the domestic violence shelter.

Human Support

  • Alternatives to Domestic Violence is a private, nonprofit organization serving all of western Riverside County, California, with a range of services aimed at breaking the cycle of physical and emotional violence within families and the wider community.

  • DomesticShelters.org - The first and largest online and mobile searchable directory of domestic violence programs and shelters in the U.S. and Canada, and a leading source of helpful tools and information for people experiencing and working to end domestic violence.

  • Los Angeles House of Ruth (LAHR) - their mission is to provide temporary and bridge housing for homeless families; 80% of whom are victims of domestic violence. It is the commitment of the LAHR community to provide a caring and supportive environment. We strive to empower the families that we serve to move from dependency and abuse to independence and successful futures. The only requirement to enter our program is homelessness and all our services are provided completely free of charge.

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline - they provide a hotline, live chat and text service that is free, confidential and provides essential tools and support to help survivors of domestic violence so they can live their lives free of abuse.

  • Valley Oasis - based in the Antelope Valley. Valley Oasis is a community based organization dedicated to eliminating social and domestic violence and homelessness through community awareness, intervention, prevention, safe shelter, and supportive services.
