  • Bullies and Buddies At Bullies and Buddies we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for bullies and other buddy breeds in Southern California.

  • California Animal Rescue & Education Sanctuary (CARES) Antelope Valley Dog Adoption Fees* - Adults $150 - $250 / Puppies $300. They require a home check to make sure that your home is safe for the animal you are adopting.

  • I Stand With My Pack ISWMP’s domestic efforts focus on the successful removal of dogs from LA city and county as well as other parts of California high risk kill shelters, assisting them through the rehabilitative process and successfully placing them in their forever homes.

  • It’s the Pits We specialize in American Staffordshire Terriers (“Am Staffs”), Staffordshire Bull Terriers ("Staffy's"), and American Pit Bull Terriers, but will do our best to help all breeds. We are located in San Diego county, as are all of our foster homes.

  • One Mutt at a Time - Based in Riverside, CA. We are a 501c3 organization of dedicated volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of lost, abandoned, and homeless dogs. One Mutt at a Time, we will help eradicate the needless euthanasia of shelter animals. We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs get to know what family life is like before they become yours!!! Our dogs come to you vetted, vaccines UTD, spay/neuter, microchipped and full of love.

  • Ozzie and Friends Rescue - Yearly Ozzie and Friends Rescue places an average of 300-400 dogs from all backgrounds with loving families.

  • Paws for Life Paws For Life K9 Rescue pulls its dogs from city and county shelters. Often, we choose dogs in need of socialization and training which we place with our incarcerated trainers throughout California State Prisons. We do this because our program is creating a wholesome training environment that dedicates significant time toward rehabilitation, ensuring the best possible outcomes. After several months of training, our dogs are ready for family life after completing their AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. Some are trained to become service animals for military veterans with PTSD.

  • Pet Orphans of Southern California - based in Van Nuys, charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of companion animal welfare and to combating overpopulation, abandonment, and the need for euthanasia.

  • Rescue Train We rescue dogs and cats from city and county shelters and find them loving homes. We save all breeds, and we don’t shy away from senior animals or animals with treatable medical conditions. We pride ourselves on matching the right pet with the right owner, resulting in a lifetime of love and companionship.

  • Santé D’Or Foundation - is a volunteer run animal adoption center and community focused rescue located in Los Angeles.

  • 2nd Chance Dog Rescue - 2nd Chance Dog Rescue is a fostered/volunteered based nonprofit located in the Antelope Valley. We are committed to making more adoptions a long-term success by giving dogs a second chance in a new, loving home. We rescue the dogs from local high kill shelters and help them decompress and get acclimated to the home environment. This allows us time to see if the dogs are good with young/older kids, smaller dogs, and cats, so that they are matched with the right foster or adopter.

  • The Dawg Squad We rescue at-risk animals who are homeless or have been abandoned and are in need of medical care. We provide medical attention, training, rehabilitation, loving foster and permanent homes.

  • Voice for the Animals - devoted to creating respect and empathy for animals through education, rescue, legislation, and advocacy.

  • Wags and Walks Wags and Walks is focused on advocating for wrongfully stereotyped bully breeds, medical dogs, and mamas + puppies that are often overlooked and at-risk due to overcrowding. We do not select dogs based on their size, age, or breed. We select our dogs on a case-by-case basis, factoring in our ability to help and their likelihood of thriving when placed in the right home. Our Adoption Center is open to the public.
